no more 'paci'

wanted to share some good news this week: Lauren gave up her pacifier FOR GOOD!! this happened a few weeks ago, but i was waiting to post the exciting news until we knew for sure the paci was gone forever. it was so super easy, i thought it was too good to be true.

one night we were putting her to bed and daddy asked if she wanted to give the paci to her baby doll. she said 'yes, daddy' and put it in her baby's mouth....and VIOLA...no more paci.

she did wake up screaming for her paci about 5 am, but daddy reminded her that she gave it to her baby doll and she went to back to sleep.

poor baby girl has been through so many changes in the last couple of months.....she turned 2, she has a new room, new bed, new baby brother, and so much more....we bought her a play kitchen for being so great with change.

now Dylan on the other-hand, won't take the dang pacifier when we want him to. geez, such dilemmas with the pros and cons of this device...
