Sugar Plum Fairy Tea!

Last Sunday, November 29th, Kevin's mom bought us girls tickets to the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea at the Westin Stonebriar Hotel where the Collin County Ballet Theatre performed the Nutcracker. We spent the afternoon in our Holiday attire having tea (magical fruit punch), sandwiches, cupcakes, and strawberries-n-cream while listening to the Story of the Nutcracker and enjoying the ballet. The performance was beautiful! It was such a nice time for us to spend the afternoon being 'girlie'. Lauren had a blast and is ready to begin taking ballet.

My little sunshine is growing up so quickly and I can't wait to see her first ballet performance.
I have a few photos to share of this fun afternoon. (my camera was acting up, so not the best quality, but still cute...so I just had to post)
ps. Oh, and our family friend Aminah plays the part of Claire; she is such a cutie!

here we are primping for the big event. can't leave the house without lipgloss!

all dressed up and ready to go!

Grandma'ma and Lauren skipping with excitement...

with "Claire" (Aminah)

....with a ballerina

such a cute group photo

Story Time

Sugar Plum Fairy!

not sure at what point Lauren managed to make her way onto the stage as Santa made his Grand Entrance...but she did!

and she stayed up there to show me how it's really done...(after it ended, of course)

guess who we ran into? SANTA! he sure is making his rounds around town quickly....I think this was the 3rd time we saw him in just a couple of days. :)

ready to go home and share with daddy how much fun we had....with the candy cane in hand that Santa gave her.
