Baking Sugar Cookies

This past weekend, Lauren was invited to a birthday party at a neighbor's house; sweet Dani turned 2 years old and had a Minnie Mouse themed party. She was adorable dressed in her Minnie Mouse costume, pink shiny shoes, and minnie ears!
I left my camera at home so no pictures of the cutey birthday girl. (bummed)
Her party favors were these cute sugar cookie containers. All is included, except for the wet ingredients. I just love this idea!

Lauren had an awesome time preparing, mixing, rolling the dough and cutting out her stars. I took lots of pictures to document each step of the way. It was also a great practice for holiday baking....can't wait to bake Santa's Cookies!

nicely decorated jar of ingredients

let's dump it out... oh wait, what is this? flour on the nose...too cute!

full shot of Betty Crocker in her apron

cracking the eggs...

can't forget the Crisco

mix it all up...

singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"... (really adorable)

rolling time...

Viola....ALL DONE AND DELICIOUS!!
Thanks to Dani for the special gift and fun times! Such a great idea!
