Kevin's company had an event at the Roughriders game so we decided to get out of the house and take Lauren to her first baseball game. You'll see from the pics...that she had a great time.

2 year appt..

we have been spending lots of time at the Dr.s office lately. Nothing serious...just milestone visits for both Dylan and Lauren. as you know, Lauren just turned 2 and here are some of her stats...

Height: 35.5 inches (95%)

Weight: 27lbs (50-75%)

She received an A+ on both physical exam and development exam..Yay! :) Next milestone visit will be at 3 years...

off the charts...

okay, so he's not really 'off the charts', but i thought he would want me to brag on him a little bit...

we had baby dylan's 2 week appointment on Friday and he is now weighing 8lbs 7 oz and is 21 inches long. 50-75% for weight, 75% for height. it's a nice feeling to know that my many, many, many hours/days/nights of feedings are paying off. I still feel like he's a little skinny, but one sign of his growth is that he has officially outgrown his newborn diapers. Aww....

i like to take pictures at the dr. visits, but i didn't have my photographer with me...pssh!!! i was only able to take 2. (bummed)

two weeks old

just like all newborns, Dylan started out with his days and nights mixed up. so, when he would wake up to eat in the night, he would just stay awake until the next meal - making it hard for me to go back to sleep b/w feedings. but NOW, he is starting to stay awake more during the day and only wakes up to eat at night...then, viola...back to sleep. so, I'm not quite sleeping through the night, of course..but seeing a definite improvement. Yay!!

lauren is such a wonderful big sister. she loves to 'pet' him...and wants to give him kisses all the time. it's really cute to hear her say with the funniest surprised look on her face, "Uh-oh...he's makin' noises"...when he wiggles or fusses. i guess she thinks he should behave like her baby dolls and just sit there without a peep...not so much. (i think it's one of those moments that you have to hear for yourself...way too cute)

we have our 2 week Check Up on Friday. i'll be updating his latest stats soon...

Lauren is starting to enjoy playing dress-up. Next time, we'll make sure to have the gown to match.... this was just a trial run. :D

Welcome.....

Dylan Kevin Sinclair

Born on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 4:17pm. He weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 19.69 inches long. And....a full head of hair. :)

It was 1 week ago today that we were blessed with our newest addition to the family. He is truly a little miracle and angel. He's so soft, cuddley, and new baby smelling....just love him!!

Labor and delivery went great. I checked into the hospital on Monday morning around 8:30am, my water broke around 9:30am and the magic epidural went in about 10ish, starting pushing a little after 4pm and he was born at 4:17pm.

(I have included several photos of that special day. Be prepared lots to follow...hey, that's what the blog is for, right?! :D )
