Watch Out...Here I come....

Dylan is officially on the move! He took his first steps on October 7th and now prefers the walking method over the crawling. We are so proud of our little man!
Way to go Dylan!

always on the blackberry. that's him saying 'hello'...(behind his ear) ha!

Peace Out!

Big Orange Pumpkin Farm!

Didn't think we were gonna make it out to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm, but we did!! It was a perfect day - in the 70's and not very busy...my kinda day!
We enjoyed going on the hayride, throwing food feeding the animals, and taking lots of pictures. (there are quite a few below, but considering I took about 100....to post 17 or so isn't too bad) :)

Halloween with the Friends

This year we went to the Glasscocks for some Halloween Fun! There is an area in their neighborhood that really goes all-out. I like to call it the Halloween version of Christmas in Deerfield. They have this huge block party and pretty much all of the houses participate in decorating. Tons of people roaming the streets, dressed up, trick-or-treating and really enjoying the evening with family and friends. I must say - this is the best halloween with the kids so far...Lauren and Dylan had a blast with their friends!!

Halloween Party at School

Lauren's school had their annual Halloween Party and trick-or-treating festivities on the 31st. Daddy, Dylan and I went up to visit and have snacks with our little kitty. This year was much more fun than last year....I am sure it's because she was a little older and not as freaked out about the kids being dressed up in costume. She had a great time...and looked adorable!

Official 15 month appointment

Dylan's appointment went well, besides the previous issue of showing up 2 days early. (Geez, having two kids can really throw a wrench in your thinking pattern. This doesn't happen often, but certain things just escape the mind, without even skipping a beat. Then you feel like a complete idiot later...)

Now onto the appointment.... My little man did so good this time around. He only cried on the scale getting weighed. He is always a little upset when getting examined. He is NOT a big fan of the ear, nose and throat flash light ...actually hates it. He just starts kicking and screaming in this super high pitch 'uh-hem....manly' cry. ha! It is kinda funny that he didn't make a peep when getting 2 shots, but that scale....sure is brutal!! (ha!)

He received an A+ on his report card with the following stats:

Weight: 21.4 lbs (10%) such a skinny 'lil guy

Height: 31.5 in (75%) still tall...like his parents- Ha!

Head: 18.5 in (50-75%)

not sure what to think about this...

this is such a sweet-sad face. makes me feel so bad...

really NOT happy - probably a little cold.

show me your tummy?

show me your head...

totally ready to go home

Gosh, the torture he has to go through. Being 15 months must be tough...

Baking Sugar Cookies

This past weekend, Lauren was invited to a birthday party at a neighbor's house; sweet Dani turned 2 years old and had a Minnie Mouse themed party. She was adorable dressed in her Minnie Mouse costume, pink shiny shoes, and minnie ears!
I left my camera at home so no pictures of the cutey birthday girl. (bummed)
Her party favors were these cute sugar cookie containers. All is included, except for the wet ingredients. I just love this idea!

Lauren had an awesome time preparing, mixing, rolling the dough and cutting out her stars. I took lots of pictures to document each step of the way. It was also a great practice for holiday baking....can't wait to bake Santa's Cookies!
