my little smarty pants!
i don't post videos often, but something tells me that i will start adding some as my little lauren becomes more and more entertaining and not so camera shy. here she is in action. of course now that she's two, we've been enjoying her 'super active' personality. enjoy!

Halloween 2008

We had such a great time getting ready for Halloween this year. Only one complaint - i wish we lived in a city with some cold weather this time of year. Dylan's costume was made for the North Pole - he was burning up in the 80 degree weather Friday- Geez!

orange, orange everywhere....

from Texas Longhorn weekends to pumpkin patches...it seems like the entire month of October has been all about Orange!
here are some pictures of our visit to the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina (everyone has been to this one. the only thing different about my photos....they are my kids and not yours! )HA!! :)

it's been a good day today:
first of all, it's beautiful outside - sunny, 72 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. i went out for lunch and didn't want to come back to work. (but then again...who does).

since i've been back to work, i like to visit my sweet dylan every day at lunch. i love it- it breaks up my stressful day and it allows me to remember: Work to Live…not Live to work! family comes first and i enjoy every minute that i spend with him. he is so much fun right now….smiling, cooing and such a little flirty-flirt with the ladies at the school. he does that cute raising of one eye brow while smiling, which i'm sure will be his signature move for many years to come. looks a lot like his daddy ….
AND he slept in his crib for his morning nap…Yay! he's been adjusting to the new environment and only wanted to sleep in the swing. i wanted to transition him soon so that he doesn't get TOO USED to the swing for napping. i think we're all good now!

then, i ran to the store to look for costumes for our little munchkins. after all Halloween is only 2 days away and the clock is ticking. i have been looking here and there, but nothing really caught my eye and i wanted them to match. so i was starting to stress out a little. well, i finally found something fun, but they're still not going to match - oh well! sorry, can't tell you what their costumes are…you'll have to check back for pictures.
so, today has been a super day for me….
what can i say, i'm easily amused! ;) Happy Wednesday!
